Forum Post: CCSv5.5 opens app.cfg with XDC runtime error: too many arguments

Hello E2E Community,

I have a SYS/BIOS application that has being working for over 5 months and have being modifying and building my application since without any problems.  Today I needed to add a new task to the application so I double clicked the app.cfg file and when CCS loads the file into the SYS/BIOS window, it showed an error in the 'Problems' window.  At this point, when I select the Task tab, all my tasks are in the Task list box but the settings are all at default and not what is in the app.cfg file.

I am not sure where the problem is in the app.cfg file.  Can someone give me some guidance as to how to debug this error message and how to fix it.  I am using CCSv5.5, compiler version TI v7.4.6,  SYS/BIOS 6.35.4.50, and the application runs on a TMS320C6748 DSP.
