Hi, Are you absolutely sure you are working with CCSv8.1.0? If so, did you install CCS on top of a prior installation? The reason of my suspicion is that I get the exact same error in my CCSv7.1.0 (not 8.1.0) if I try to update this component. The error message is showing the component com.ti. ccstudio .cc26xx.devicesupport.win32.feature.group version being installed requires a newer version of the component com.ti. ccstudio .debugserver.win32.feature.group (7.2.0.2021). If you check the Installation Details of your CCS, compare with the details below that show a healthy install of CCSv8.1.0 - notice that many components carry the base version of the CCS - if you see many version starting with 7.1.0 or 7.4.0 or something else, it is possible you installed one version over the other. In this case, the remedy is to do what Tomasz mentioned: installing in a different directory is a sure way to keep both versions working withotu problems. Part Number: CC1350 Tool/software: Code Composer Studio Hi, I am trying to build the simple peripheral project using BLE stack for cc1350 launch pad boards. The idea is to have both a BLE connection to a mobile phone and a UART link to another third party board. I noticed that due to the predefined symbol Display_DISABLE_ALL there is no display and uart capability. After removing this symbol as well as BOARD_DISPLAY_EXCLUDE_UART and adding the flag BOARD_DISPLAY_EXCLUDE_LCD I ecpected the app to work but then I encountered the following error: undefined first referenced symbol in file --------- ---------------- Display_doClearLines Display_doOpen Display_doPrintf error #10234-D: unresolved symbols remain error #10010: errors encountered during linking; "simple_peripheral_cc1350lp_app_FlashROM.out" not built I can guess this is because the project is missing some libraries which contain the implementation of display and uart APIs but it is unclear to me how to resolve this problem. I could not find answer by searching the forum so I would be thankful if you can help me. I am using simplelink_cc13x0_sdk_2_30_00_20

Hello, Keysighht ADS is not a supported simulator. I would recommend that you use TINA-TI instead. It is a free simulator from TI and the model should already be available in it (in the product folder).

I already said that putting MyName under git control is what I am suggesting and doing. That isn't the problem. The problem is where CodeComposer puts some of the MotorWare build configuration files when you import a MotorWare project. Even though the projects travel when you restore them to a new computer, you have to setup your Include path in the properties again and remove and re-add any custom C files in the project.

Aash, The C2000Ware example projects have several dependencies and paths that are set up using variables. If you create a new project from scratch these are things you would need to set up and create yourself. To do so, you would need to have an understanding of CCS projects, their structure, variables, etc. To ease the process of getting started, C2000Ware and similar software packages provide a set of example projects so you can use those as a starting point to speed up your development process. To make a copy of an example project I would suggest doing the copy from within CCS (process described here ). This would preserve the variables, build options and so on, and make it easier for the project copy to build. To get familiar with CCS, and for other resources, I would suggest reviewing the CCS User's Guide available here . It has a section on Getting Started and also covers project management details and common build errors. Specifically for the error you are seeing: [quote user="aash mohd"]"../Example_2802xEPwmDeadBand.c", line 72: fatal error: cannot open source file "DSP28x_Project.h"[/quote] The compiler is saying that it cannot open source file "DSP28x_Project.h". The error is explained here . Basically the compiler cannot locate the file because it has not been provided the path to it. Note in your build options: --include_path="C:/Users/aashm/common/include" --include_path="C:/Users/aashm/headers/include" These are not the correct paths to the device support files in C2000Ware . And they are incorrect likely because of a missing or incorrect build variable. Hope this helps clarify.
