Forum Post: CCS under-the-hood on code download/run

TI experts-

What happens when downloading and running code on C6678 core 0 using CCS?  What does CCS do -- a CPU Reset?  Whatever the level of reset performed, does it affect SGMII ports or other peripherals?

After downloading code, CCS reports "entry point reached" -- did some C66x code already run at this point?
