Got JTAG finally to connect … sort of
1) Before starting CCS I have to run “sudo JLinkExe -device AM3358 -if JTAG -speed 4000” which then outputs

and then quit the utility and then start CCS.
I have to do this sequence once or twice.
2) It appears that every time the board is reset, target configuration needs to be re-launched in CCS at least on my system. (Disconnecting, resetting the board and then connecting does not work).
Does that give any more hints?
