Forum Post: Newbie: CCSv6 Cross Compile for BeagleBone Black

Hi all,

I am trying to develop for the beaglebone black using CCS. I have tried using both compiler options available with CCSv6 (TI v5.1.5 & GNU v4.7.4 (Linaro) ); however, every time I build my simple "hello world" program and transfer it over to the BBB (via SFTP) the program cannot be run. I have searched the web and can find several topics about debugging the BBB with CCS, but I can't find any tutorial or instructions for setting up CCS to cross compile for the BeagleBone Black.

Has anyone had any success with this?
