Thanks for the help in all aspects.
I shall be first trying the Linux CCSv6. I hope it has been updated to support both MPS430G2 and TivaC Lanchpads in linux.
I don't expect Debug_Serer_Logging to help, as the basic usb device itself is not enumerated by the Operating System drivers (lsusb utility in ubuntu). But shall try that too.
Shall update the status after testing.
