Did you mean CCS 4.2.4 ? If so, I would strongly recommend updating to the latest CCS if that is an option. The internal errors are compiler bugs and if you are using an older version of the compiler tools (you can check the compiler version by going into Project properties), it is quite likely that the bug is already fixed in a newer version.
So couple of options to try:
1) install latest CCS (you can use the free license to get started), import your project into it and see if the error is reproducible. http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Download_CCS
2) if you are not ready to install a new CCS, download and install the latest c2000 compiler tools from here. You can then have CCS detect it and set your project to use this new version by following the steps described here.
If the interal error remains in the latest compiler tools, we would need a reproducible test case. That would be a preprocessed version of the C source file that generates that error. Please attach the file here along with the compiler options used for the build.
