Forum Post: CCS5v3, profiling, using printf(), for terminal output into CCS console

Hello,

I posses TMS320C6748LCDK V5, JTAG XDS100v2 and CCS5v3.

I need to analyze the time severity of my program and its parts and usage of CPU to know which parts to optimized. My idea was using timer and printf() of its value, but CCS has probably some tool to do it more exact and elegant.

Can you point me how to do that?
