Forum Post: Altium Designer 10 and Ultra Librarian footprint problem

Hello,

I've recently moved from Multisim and Ultiboard to Altium, to better suit TI products. I've downloaded the newest Ultra Librarian (UL) (5.3.409). I've also tried UL 5.3.303, this gives the same error.

I'm trying to import the DRV8301.

Both methods for importing component schematic and library has been explored. The one that runs a script gets the .schlib right, but not the .pcblib. The one that imports a PCAD file doesn't work at all. Under you can see the wrongly imported footprint from the first method.


I'm on a norwegian computer and some features with stops and commas are different, could this be the cause?

Also, when I run the import wizard, its hard to put the layers correctly - any guide on this?
