Hi John,
You may remember you helped me a while back with the license server issue talked about here. The IP of the machine recently needed to be changed and this has somehow broken the license server. The message I get in the logs is:
14:36:08 (tidspssw) Server started on pittsburgh2 for: CCS_CONNECTION_ALL
14:36:08 (tidspssw) CCS_DEBUGGER CCS_LINKER_FULL CCS_ISA_ALL
14:36:08 (tidspssw) EXTERNAL FILTERS are OFF
14:36:18 (tidspssw) Vendor daemon can't talk to lmgrd (Cannot connect to license server sys
tem. (-15,570:115 "Operation now in progress"))
14:36:18 (tidspssw) EXITING DUE TO SIGNAL 37 Exit reason 5
14:36:18 (lmgrd) tidspssw exited with status 37 (Communications error)
14:36:18 (lmgrd) Since this is an unknown status, license server
14:36:18 (lmgrd) manager (lmgrd) will attempt to re-start the vendor daemon.
14:36:18 (lmgrd) Using vendor daemon port 42816 specified in license file
14:36:18 (lmgrd) REStarted tidspssw (internet tcp_port 42816 pid 1662)
14:36:18 (tidspssw) FLEXnet Licensing version v11.4.100.0 build 50818 i86_re3
14:36:18 (tidspssw) lmgrd version 11.11, tidspssw version 11.4
Is the lP address coded into the license file somehow?
Thanks,
Jeff
