It is ONLY the run-time library where this happens. In the past, we just provided all the pre-built libraries with the installation. But as the libraries grew in size and number, it caused the install size to grow. And most customers only needed one or two of the libraries anyway. So we now only ship with a few pre-built defaults and for the rest, CCS will build it as needed. The intent was always to completely hide this build process from the user. It was never meant to provide customer with makefiles or projects to build the run-time libraries.

If the auto-build fails, then there is some problem with your build environment. The auto-build of the run-time libraries should never fail. Please provide the build error messages outputted.
