Hi Lisa,
Is there a way to look into a folder of an old project and possibly open a text file that shows the CCS version this project was built with?
Within the CCS-> Project->Properties, General Tab I don't see the CCS version the project was built with.
Does the 'Compiler version' indicate the compiler version that the project was compiled with? Does the 'Effective compiler version' is the current compiler version the CCS uses? If so, is there a way to revert back to the compiler version that the project was originally compiled with?
I don't know what's is going on, I had couple of good CC430 projects (I was using CCS 5.4), and after I plugged a development kit to the USB port, or after I installed the Logic Analyzer or after I did 'Check for updates' from the CCS help menu the AP and EDs after build and configure are not behaving the same as before.
I'm trying to reveal the correct versioning of the various tools (CCS, TI compiler, etc.) that were used when the AP and EDs were working correctly and then I'll try to use the same versioning again. I tried already to install a fresh CCS 5.4 and the AP and EDs are not functioning correctly.
Any suggestion would be appreciated.
