Hi Bonnie,

The excel resistor calc is just a standard value look up table.  Resistor-calc is much more and defined below, as taken off of TI’s web page.
This is a TI calculator tool that has been available for years and located at this web location: http://www.ti.com/tool/resistor-calc
Go to this location and try to click on the   Initiate RESISTOR-CALC
It is supposed to take you to the tool, but instead goes to the E2E page.  This is very frustrating.  All the good TI calculators now do this, there are quite a few.

RESISTOR-CALC is a resistor selection tool for op amp design. This KnowledgeBase Javascript utility calculates the resistor values required for any combination of op amp gain, attenuation, and/or offset.

Thank you so much for your attention to this issue.  It has been a source of frustration for my for about a year now.

Regards,
Jeff

Jeff,

What exactly did this tool do for you?

There is an excel based resistor calculator on the TI site. The name of this tool is: EXCELRESISTORCALC. Please look at this and let me know if it meets your needs.
