Forum Post: CCS5.5 Licensing - Source Control Build

Hi,

In my SW group (>150) we put all compilers and make utilities in source control so that everyone can build the software

without having to install all needed IDEs (VisualStudio, Ecllipse, etc.) on every computer.

We are ~10 developer who actually code/debug/etc using CCS5.5 so we have a floating licence and eclipse installed on our desktops.

I want to put only relevant parts of CCS5 in source control and invoke it from command line as part of automated build.

Is it ok with this licencing model?

One more question: all projects and sources are in source control and during automated build there is no workspace (workspaces are not part of source control), can I build a project from command line without having a workspace?

Thanks,

Assaf.
