Forum Post: RE: CCSv5 cannot install latest TI DSPLIB (Ubuntu)

Hi Gautam,

I will try that shortly.  First, however, I uninstalled the previous DSPLIB 3.1.0.0 manually (using the uninstall executable in the directory).

Unfortunately CCS doesn't automatically identify new installed software now... how can I quickly try to manually install the new DSPLIB?  Is it via this:  http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Updating_CCSv5#Managing_Update_Sites.2FServers ?

In the Help -> CCS Installation Details, it says I have DSPLIB as follows:   DSPLIB C66x    3.1.0.0    ti.mas.dsplib.c66x_3.1.0.0.feature.group    Texas Instruments Inc.

I'm assuming I'll just have to start over from scratch.  Before I do that, should I make sure I've manually deleted all the files from the previous version of DSPLIB??
