Forum Post: RE: Webench simulation export- Altium, export window missing 'simulation export' option

The WEBENCH Simulation Export into Altium is not enabled globally for all parts. In order to ensure high quality exports, we do a thorough validation before enabling each and every part.

Please let us know which part(s) you are trying to export and I will see if we can add them to the next release batch.

Forum Post: RE: flash programming hex file to TMS570LC4357 by CCS Uniflashv3.1

Shinya,

It seems that this is a bug during packaging. The flash properties file is not up to date and caused this issue.

Please replace the attached file in <install folder>\uniflashv3\ccs_base\DebugServer\propertyDB (Please visit the site to view this file)

Please also be sure you have updated the Flash update, Hercules update, and emulation update in UniFlash.

This problem should not occur in CCS 6.0.1 and it will be fixed in UniFlash 3.3 coming up.

Regards,

Victor

Forum Post: RE: Looking for TLV2244 Spice model or equivalent

I see that there are versions for 2.7V, 5V, and 15V. What exactly are those voltages referring to? Also, all of the files are Pspice models, do you know if these will work in LTspice?

Thanks

Thanks!  BTW: Did you mention that assembly files are broken also?

Who is actually responsible for the headers?

Hi Kanemaru-san,

You can still enter values for custom components that are outside the lower and upper limits. Click the "Save changes" and when the warning message comes up, click Ok.

Forum Post: RE: pre-build steps setting problem in CCS v6

Hi, Baltasar

I did The test according to your suggestion.
The result is:
a). Yes, if no "C" file is built, my custom pre-build step will not be executed. The console info shows as below:
"D:\\ti\\ccsv6\\utils\\bin\\gmake" -j 4 all
gmake[1]: `pre-build' is up to date.
gmake[1]: Nothing to be done for `main-build'.
b). But, if I change one of the "C" files(named xxxxx.c), my custom pre-build step will not be executed either.
The console info shows as below:
"D:\\ti\\ccsv6\\utils\\bin\\gmake" -j 4 all
gmake[1]: `pre-build' is up to date.
'Building file: G:/xxx/xxx/src/xxxxx.C'

The modified makefile shows as below:
pre-build: $(C_SRCS)
-my pre-build command
-@echo BEFORE
-@echo time >> pre-build
-@echo ' '
Is is right?
Is there anyway of geting the assembly code from a Tiva code that is in C?
Try disassembly view of your IDE.

The Tiva microcontroller can be programmed entirely using assembly. I think you can find some tutorials about that in the internet.

Hi Gautam,

I am able to program it but some times it halts in between.

If I am able to program it then while debugging it gives this error 154.

Same hardware and software works from laptop but not able to do it from desktop which was using in past many 3 year.

Thank You

George,

I did not found the _start function in the source code. But I find the answers by some experiments:

The GCC library only setup the stack for current mode where I jump to the “_start” of the library.

The stacks of all other modes mus be setup manually by my own code.

Hi Chester,

that might point to the issue.  As far as I am aware, CCS only looks for an eth0 MAC address .  I have seen Linux users rename a different one to create one specifically.

But glad you are able to use ccs no problems.

Best Regards,

Lisa

Hello Rafael,

thanks for reply:) before I got your msg I thought that I try to reinstall simply CCS. It wasn't really easy to uninstall the other one. But now I can't install it correctly. In the  middle of installation occurs an Error which terminate the action and xds100 emulator is not installed. I try it on Monday again and refer to it.

with best regards

BTW, I have just realized the command I suggested refers to a non-standard directory (probably because of some previous work I did on that machine).  The command you want to use is:

sudo ln -s /lib/i386-linux-gnu/libudev.so.1 /lib/libudev.so.0
